Junior night takes place on Fridays during term-time and coaching is available for the following age groups:
6:00-7:00 pm U4-U10.
7:00-8:00 pm U11-U16.
The sessions are free for members and £4 for non-members. The lessons are less formal than a typical group coaching session, but nevertheless we will always try to instil the basics of technique and tactics. There is also a high focus on fun activities and match-play.
On Friday nights, juniors have priority on the courts, so any junior of any age wishing to play may do so. During the winter time, the session will be in the Bubble.
Junior night is also a great social occasion. Our licensed bar is open from 6:00 pm and often parents relax with a drink while their children are playing. We also have a tuck shop in the kitchen which is open from 7:00 pm.
We really do try to make junior night as much of a social event as possible and we have various events throughout the year including puzzle night, quiz night, Halloween, Christmas and Easter Egg hunts. At the end of the summer, we will (weather permitting) have a BBQ to mark the end of junior night for the summer holidays.
