No. There are times when other things take priority. For example, Monday night is men’s night, Tuesday night is ladies’ night, and Friday is junior night. At these times, those members participating will take priority over the courts. During the summer, there are often club matches. This will be clearly marked on the booking sheet. Also coaching has priority on two courts at all times.
The club rules state that doubles takes priority over singles. Therefore, if you are playing singles and there are people waiting, you would be expected to offer them a game of doubles. If this is not possible, you would be expected to finish your game within a certain time. Courts are not possible to book for more than two consecutive hours.
Floodlight tokens can be purchased from the bar for £2 for half an hour. The token meters are placed to the right of the gym. Please note that the lights are high energy saving, and if you need to put more tokens in, it is best to do before they run out.
The function room is available to hire at a cost of £100, plus £100 security deposit. Contact Alan Cockbill on 07778 919206
